Responsibilities For Staff Hardware System Design Engineer

  • Lead the development of complex PCB system designs, from specification to compliance testing
  • Drive the implementation of high-speed SERDES channels and high-density BGA pin layouts
  • Oversee the design and implementation of high-power, low-noise analog power systems, DDR interfaces
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ASIC, SI, PI, DVT, Sysops, Software, AE, and Mechanical/Thermal
  • Provide technical leadership and support to ODMs, OEMs, and PCB/PCA suppliers
  • Utilize advanced tools for signal integrity and power integrity analysis

Requirements For Staff Hardware System Design Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Hardware Systems Design Engineer
  • Expertise in PCB design tools such as DxDesigner/OrCad and Cadence Allegro
  • Strong understanding of power integrity concepts and signal integrity principles
  • Proficiency in system bring-up, characterization, and debugging of complex embedded systems
  • Familiarity with interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, USB, SPI, and I2C
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
