Principal Physical Design Engineer (ICB5)

Broadcom's Network Switch Group is seeking a Principal Physical Design Engineer to join their team working on cutting-edge networking ASICs and multi-chip solutions. This role focuses on 3nm high-speed physical designs for complex networking products that support the latest protocols and manage large volumes of internet traffic. The position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $141,000-$225,000, plus bonus and equity opportunities.

The ideal candidate will lead physical design implementation, from floorplanning to verification, working with state-of-the-art 3nm technology. Key responsibilities include multi-power domain planning, physical implementation of blocks and top-level designs, timing closure, and methodology development. This role requires extensive experience in IC physical design, with either 12+ years (BE) or 10+ years (ME) in deep-sub-micron designs.
