Senior Software Quality Engineer

Broadcom, a global leader in infrastructure technology, data center networking, and security, is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer for their Application, Networking, and Software business unit. This role focuses on the Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) product, a pioneer in distributed and gateway firewall security.

The position offers an opportunity to work with a close-knit, agile team solving critical challenges for both internal and external customers. You'll be responsible for comprehensive end-to-end testing of network virtualization products, focusing on functionality, scalability, and performance testing of Perimeter gateway security solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software quality engineering, with strong knowledge of virtualization, networking, and security concepts. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and systems engineers, to ensure thorough testing from multiple perspectives.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing automated test solutions, mentoring team members, and maintaining complex networking testbeds. The role requires strong technical skills in Python, Go, or similar languages, deep Linux knowledge, and extensive experience with networking tools and concepts.
