Responsibilities For Senior Technical Writer
- Collaborate with developers, product managers to develop technical content
- Write for new and experienced operators in networking and security space
- Research writing assignments using various sources
- Ensure compliance with documentation styles and standards
- Work as part of a distributed, global team
- Collaborate with other writing teams
- Develop technical documentation using DITA tools
Requirements For Senior Technical Writer
- B.A./B.S. in Technical Discipline or English/Technical Communications with 5+ years experience, or Masters with 3+ years experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of technical writing fundamentals
- Ability to learn complex concepts quickly
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with high sense of responsibility
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of DITA standards and best practices
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
