Solution Architect

Broadcom is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for their VMware Cloud Foundation Division, a role that combines technical leadership with strategic customer engagement. This position focuses on enabling organizations to run their business-critical and modern applications efficiently using VMware's flagship products including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria.

The role involves working with enterprise customers in the SLED (State, Local, and Education) markets across the Pacific Northwest & West regions. As a Solutions Architect, you'll be responsible for discovering customer needs, architecting solutions, and demonstrating the value of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions. You'll work closely with Account Directors, pre-sales teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful adoption of VCF solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of IT experience with strong architectural knowledge in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and platform design. You'll need excellent presentation skills for executive-level communications and deep technical expertise in VMware technologies. This remote position offers an attractive compensation package ranging from $125,000 to $222,000 OTE, with additional equity benefits. The role requires up to 50% travel, primarily within the region, to support customer engagements. Success in this role means becoming proficient in VCF solution implementation, leading technical validations, and developing customer consumption plans within the first year.
