Broadcom is seeking a Solutions Architect for their VMware division to provide technical leadership for customers' strategic IT programs and initiatives. This role focuses on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions, requiring expertise in cloud architecture and customer engagement. The position combines technical depth with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring 12+ years of IT experience.
The role involves leading technical validations, conducting architecture discovery calls, and developing customer consumption plans. You'll work closely with sales teams, specialists, and executive leadership to ensure successful adoption of VCF solutions. Responsibilities For Solutions Architect
- Lead customers through architecture and discovery calls in pre-sales process
- Lead product conversations highlighting key features, benefits and capabilities
- Develop customer VCF consumption plans and future state architecture
- Coordinate solution proposals with partners, VARs and software vendors
- Participate in opportunity pipeline identification and qualification
- Conduct workshops with customer stakeholders
- Participate in demos and proof of concepts
- Maintain expertise of VMware technologies
Requirements For Solutions Architect
- BA/BS required with Masters Preferred or Equivalent Industry Experience
- Twelve (12) or more years of Information Technology experience
- IT Team/Departmental Leadership OR pre-sales customer facing experience
- Strong listening and question based consultative skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to effectively present to audiences
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Broad domain level architectural understanding of IT trends, cloud computing, and infrastructure
