Broadcom's VMware Cloud Foundation Division is seeking a Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership for customers' strategic IT programs. This role focuses on enabling organizations to run business-critical applications securely and efficiently. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for discovering customer needs, architecting VMware Cloud Foundation solutions, and developing consumption plans for long-term success. Working within the SLED (State, Local, and Education) markets in TX, NE, and OK, this position offers the opportunity to shape the future of enterprise cloud infrastructure. The role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring strong architectural knowledge and communication skills. Success in this position involves mastering VMware technologies, leading technical validations, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities For Solutions Architect
- Lead technical validations for VMware Cloud Foundation solutions
- Develop customer VCF consumption plans and future state architecture
- Lead product demonstrations and technology workshops
- Coordinate solution proposals with professional services and partners
- Maintain expertise in VMware technologies
- Understand customer's business objectives and IT initiatives
- Up to 50% travel to customer sites as needed
Requirements For Solutions Architect
- BA/BS required with Masters Preferred or Equivalent Industry Experience
- Eight (8) or more years of Information Technology experience
- Pre-sales customer facing experience OR IT Team/Departmental Leadership
- Experience in developing IT strategies, architectures, and roadmaps
- Strong relationship building and consultative skills
- Broad architectural understanding of IT trends and cloud computing
- Knowledge of IT Transformation and Platform Design
- Understanding of IT Processes, Governance, and Business drivers
