Broadcom's VMware Cloud Foundation Division is seeking a Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership for customers' strategic IT programs. This role focuses on architecting and demonstrating the value of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions, specifically supporting SLED markets in CA and AZ. The position requires extensive experience in IT architecture, cloud computing, and infrastructure design. The Solutions Architect will work closely with Account Directors, pre-sales teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful VCF solution adoption. Key responsibilities include conducting workshops, client interviews, and technical validations. The role offers competitive compensation including base salary, sales incentives, and equity opportunities. The position requires 12+ years of IT experience and involves up to 50% travel within the region. Responsibilities For Solutions Architect
- Lead technical validations efforts for VCF solution set
- Understand customer's business objectives and IT initiatives
- Lead development of customer VCF consumption plans
- Lead product conversations and demos with stakeholders
- Coordinate solution proposals with professional services and partners
- Maintain expertise of VMware technologies
- Maintain knowledge of competitive offerings
- Travel up to 50% to customer sites as needed
Requirements For Solutions Architect
- BA/BS required with Masters Preferred or Equivalent Industry Experience
- Twelve (12) or more years of Information Technology experience
- Pre-sales customer facing experience OR IT Team/Departmental Leadership
- Experience in developing IT strategies, architectures, roadmaps, and proposals
- Strong relationship building and consultative skills
- Ability to present to executive audiences
- Broad architectural understanding of IT trends and infrastructure
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Data Center Design
- Understanding of IT Processes, Governance, and Business drivers
