As an STA Design Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing, testing, and enhancing STA methodology and flow. The role requires deep expertise in VLSI and ASIC physical design, with particular emphasis on static timing analysis using tools like Synopsys PrimeTime and Cadence Tempus. You'll work with both basic and advanced STA concepts, including POCV/SOCV/LVF modeling, multi-input switching, and path-based analysis.
The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience with a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or 6 years with an MS), strong programming skills in Python/Ruby, TCL, and BASH, and extensive knowledge of timing analysis concepts. You'll need excellent communication skills to work effectively with multiple engineering teams and the ability to manage and present complex data clearly.
