This role focuses on developing and enhancing Static Timing Analysis (STA) methodology and flow for ASIC designs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in VLSI/ASIC design, with strong expertise in timing analysis tools and concepts.

As an STA Design Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining critical timing analysis workflows, working with advanced concepts like POCV/SOCV/LVF modeling, and collaborating with multiple engineering teams. Responsibilities For STA Design Automation Engineer
- Develop, test, and enhance STA methodology and flow
- Debug timing problems and create solutions
- Generate and analyze timing reports
- Work with multiple engineers and teams
- Organize and manage large amounts of data
- Create and understand timing diagrams
- Manage various STA-related tasks
Requirements For STA Design Automation Engineer
- BS Electrical/Computer Engineering +15 years experience or MS Electrical/Computer Engineering +13 years experience
- Programming Languages: Python/Ruby, TCL, BASH
- Strong understanding of VLSI and ASIC physical design
- Basic understanding of PLLs and clock networks
- Experience using static timing analysis tools (Synopsys PrimeTime and/or Cadence Tempus)
- Ability to create and debug timing constraints
- Understanding of Signal Integrity, Crosstalk Delay, and Glitch/Noise Analysis
- Experience using SPICE analysis
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work onsite (no remote workers)
