Description For STAFF DFT Engineer
Broadcom APD (ASIC Product Division) is seeking a STAFF DFT Engineer to work on various phases of SoC DFT related activities. The role involves DFT Architecture, Test insertion and verification, Pattern generation, Coverage improvement, Post silicon debug and yield improvement to meet product test metrics. You'll work with the Physical Design & STA team for DFT mode timing closure and may interact directly with external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on various aspects of DFT including ATPG, MBIST & IJTAG
- Perform DFT insertion & verification, pattern generation, coverage improvement, vector simulation, and post-silicon debug
- Collaborate with teams across multiple geographies
- Handle work independently and supervise other team members as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience in relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of DFT concepts
- Strong problem-solving & debugging skills
- Experience with Mentor Graphics DFT tools (Tessent Shell) is highly desirable
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Perl and shell is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
