Description For Staff - Security Engineer 4

Responsibilities For Staff - Security Engineer 4

  • Find new vulnerabilities in VMware products and services
  • Assess threats and analyze externally reported vulnerabilities
  • Develop PoC exploits and utilize exploit kits
  • Provide vulnerability mitigations and fix recommendations
  • Perform feature security reviews and baseline security tests
  • Create and execute feature and system test plans
  • Perform offensive analysis of VMware products and cloud services
  • Enable models for SOC to detect similar family of techniques

Requirements For Staff - Security Engineer 4

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years of experience
  • Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment
  • Code reading and writing skills
  • Experience with offensive security analysis
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to various audiences
