As a Technical Support Engineer 3 in the VCF Division at Broadcom, you will be responsible for resolving customer technical issues, supporting the team, and the support operation. You will work on VMware virtualization technologies, troubleshooting and handling customer support requests. Key responsibilities include:
- Undergoing substantial skills development & learning programs
- Troubleshooting customer issues with the support of tenured engineers
- Supporting strategic customers and engaging with account teams
- Working on escalated customer issues requiring product expertise
- Engaging with engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Developing skills through training, learning tools, and research time
- Running case clinics to benefit team members
- Potentially visiting customer premises for troubleshooting
Requirements:
- 5+ years of industry working experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills and customer engagement experience
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Advanced knowledge of vSphere ESXi and vCenter Server
- Expert in troubleshooting vSphere & vCenter Server
- Experience with VMFS/NFS architecture and core vSphere features
- Linux certifications and scripting knowledge (Python/PowerShell) are beneficial
