Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer

  • Engage with global customers via email and virtual collaboration sessions
  • Troubleshoot with customers and reproduce issues in lab environment
  • Document customer interactions and issue resolution steps
  • Partner with internal stakeholders for critical situation resolution
  • Collaborate with Senior engineers to troubleshoot complex environments
  • Research issues via internal knowledge base
  • Drive global escalations and generate Root Cause Analysis reports
  • Create and update knowledge base articles
  • Create training material and mentor team members
  • Complete technical reviews and provide guidance
  • Participate in projects to drive quality and efficiency

Requirements For Technical Support Engineer

Linux
  • 8+ years related experience with Bachelors degree OR 6+ years with Masters degree
  • Expert knowledge in networking areas
  • Experience with switching and routing protocols
  • Knowledge of network topologies
  • Linux OS expertise
  • Experience with firewalls and security products
  • Strong customer interaction and problem-solving skills
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US
