As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of our data warehouse environment. This role requires expertise in database administration, data modelling, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• T-SQL Programmer, Writing complex queries and Stored Procedures.
• Deep understanding of the SQL Optimizer, execution plans, indexing.
• Optimizing T-SQL processes.
• Experience with partitioning.
• Experience with Columnstore tables – advantage.
• DWH concepts (star and snowflake schema methodologies), bulk loading concepts – advantage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a database administrator, with a focus on data warehouse environments.
• Proficiency in database management systems, MSSQL Server knowledge mandatory.
• Knowledge in additional technologies such as PostgreSQL – Advantage.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, architecture, and design principles.
• Experience with data modelling tools and techniques, such as ERwin or PowerDesigner.
• Experience with query optimization, performance tuning. Deep understanding of the Server Optimizer, Statistics, indexing (columnstore) and partitioning.
• Experience on AWS Cloud – Advantage.
