You'll be responsible for everything from prototype development to final production specifications, utilizing advanced technical garment construction skills and 3D software expertise (Browzwear preferred).

Responsibilities For Apparel Engineer - Temporary

  • Partner with Apparel Developer in fit sessions to ensure consistent fit across Brooks products
  • Maintain POM library, measurements, and graded templates in Flex PLM
  • Collaborate with sample room to execute prototypes including wear test garments
  • Provide solutions and direction to manufacturing partners on pattern corrections
  • Work with Engineering team on pattern and measurement revisions
  • Finalize seasonal styles for production including BOM and spec finalization
  • Lead size set fittings with internal team
  • Ensure garment specifications, construction and quality updates meet standards
  • Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate design and technical direction

Requirements For Apparel Engineer - Temporary

  • 5+ years of patternmaking and grading experience in activewear/sports categories
  • Experience with large size ranges and knowledge of body shapes
  • Strong knowledge of patternmaking and fit fundamentals
  • Product Development expertise
  • Experience using 3D software (Browzwear preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and pattern software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to anticipate decision impacts across the organization
  • Demonstration of innovation and initiative
