Platform Engineer

Builder.ai is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their Platform & DevOps team. This role involves building and maintaining tools and infrastructure that support the entire ecosystem, servicing over 2.5k actively developed customer applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tooling and automation involved with the stack of applications and services, covering everything from designing and maintaining IaC and infrastructure to implementing tools for seamless, fault-tolerant deployment processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the DevOps lifecycle and its various permutations
• Building and developing automated pipelines for Infrastructure management & software deployment
• Managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
• Building and maintaining infrastructure for Kubernetes clusters
• Implementing monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications
• Applying software engineering best practices
• Contributing to internal knowledge bases

The role requires a strong background in either Software or Infrastructure Engineering with a focus on DevOps practices. Essential skills include proficiency in Python, experience with Kubernetes clusters, and building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub or GitLab.
