Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer

  • Own mechanical design for all products including sheet metal enclosures and molded components
  • Drive innovation through experimenting with novel materials and manufacturing techniques
  • Rapidly prototype using advanced fabrication methods
  • Design for extreme conditions ensuring product durability
  • Optimize mechanical structures using FEA and SSA
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Identify and qualify manufacturers
  • Ensure design for manufacturability (DFM), assembly (DFA), and serviceability (DFS)
  • Research cutting-edge materials and design strategies

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer

  • Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in SolidWorks 3D modeling software including FEA
  • Significant experience with sheet metal and plastics manufacturing processes
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
  • Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong product design skills
