Caldera is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to be the primary technical point of contact for developers building on Caldera chains. This role is ideal for someone with experience in technical communication and blockchain technology, particularly rollups and scaling solutions. The position involves creating and maintaining technical documentation, supporting customer onboarding, triaging technical support requests, gathering developer feedback, and representing Caldera at events. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in developer relations or similar roles, hands-on blockchain experience, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with rollup technology, open-source contributions, and Solidity are considered bonuses. Responsibilities For Developer Relations Engineer
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact between Caldera and developers building on our platform
- Create and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and implementation guides for Caldera chains
- Work closely with the business development team to support customer onboarding and integration
- Triage technical support requests, providing direct assistance for basic inquiries and coordinating with engineering for complex issues
- Monitor and respond to developer questions about rollup implementation and best practices
- Gather and synthesize developer feedback to inform product improvements
- Represent Caldera at developer-focused events and conferences
- Create technical content that helps developers understand the benefits of Caldera's products
Requirements For Developer Relations Engineer
- 2+ years of experience in developer relations, technical writing, or developer support roles
- Hands-on experience with blockchain technology, particularly Layer 2 scaling solutions
- Excellent at explaining complex technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal form
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Great at building relationships with technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly understand and troubleshoot technical issues
- Comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools
