Caldera is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Security to help build the future of blockchain scalability. This role involves owning significant components of Caldera's core infrastructure, architecting and developing backend systems, improving DevOps pipelines, and enhancing the security posture of cloud infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining security measures within AWS environments
- Enhancing and protecting Kubernetes clusters
- Implementing network policies, RBAC, and security contexts
- Monitoring and addressing security incidents
- Improving observability stack for increased reliability
The ideal candidate should have:
- 4+ years of engineering experience
- Experience with Go or TypeScript, cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm)
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Vercel, and Cloudflare
- Strong understanding of security, threat modeling, and secure system architecture
- Skills in performance optimization and scalability
Bonus qualifications include familiarity with blockchain technologies, Ethereum scaling solutions, cryptography primitives, and experience building Ethereum dapps.

- Own significant components of Caldera's core infrastructure
- Architect and develop backend systems for Caldera chains
- Improve DevOps pipeline for reliable and secure chain deployment
- Enhance observability stack for improved reliability
- Maintain and enhance security posture of cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain AWS security measures
- Enhance and protect Kubernetes clusters
- Implement network policies, RBAC, and security contexts
- Monitor and address security incidents
Requirements For Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Security
- 4+ years of engineering experience
- Experience writing backend services in Go or TypeScript
