Senior UI/UX Engineer

Calendly is seeking a Senior UI/UX Engineer to join their Engineering team. This role focuses on building and maintaining reusable UI components and libraries to enhance developer productivity and drive a consistent user experience across multiple products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Design Systems and component-driven applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Redux, and Redux Toolkit (RTK).

Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in scrum ceremonies and team meetings
• Refining Design System and Component Libraries
• Creating and updating UI components
• Developing documentation for developers and designers
• Mentoring junior team members and ensuring code quality
• Working on automated UI tests

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in frontend/UI development
• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Familiarity with UX/UI test frameworks
• Ability to create reusable, scalable, and performant UI/UX components
• Experience with UI/UX design tools and working with design teams
• Knowledge of design systems and RESTful APIs
• Cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility expertise
• Experience in refactoring legacy codebases
