Responsibilities For Development Lifecycle Engineer

  • Lead Ubuntu's mission-critical environments initiative
  • Bridge Canonical's open source engineering processes with regulated technology platform requirements
  • Define and implement continuous improvement processes
  • Establish qualification requirements for engineering quality standards
  • Work with engineering stakeholders to demonstrate Canonical's 'ways of working'
  • Establish strategic relations with external working groups and partners

Requirements For Development Lifecycle Engineer

Linux
  • Strong experience in engineering and process management in agile environment
  • Track record of developing and growing people and teams
  • Experience leading compliance and certification efforts
  • Knowledge or certification in industry standards (ISO IEC 9001, 25010 and 15504/SPICE)
  • Experience with open source projects known for engineering processes
