Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Create analytics reporting and provide data-driven strategic insights
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability database systems
  • Implement data pipelines/data warehouses/data marts/ODSs/Lakehouses
  • Integrate data storage solutions
  • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability and automation
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code

Requirements For Data Engineer

Python
Kafka
  • 4+ years experience helping organizations design or implement enterprise Data Systems
  • Experience with ELT tools (Talend, DataStage, Matillion, Data Factory, AWS Glue)
  • Experience developing ETL Data Pipelines and Data Model solutions
  • Experience with real-time ETL solutions
  • Strong knowledge of RDBS systems
  • Experience with Cloud Data Platforms across Azure and/or AWS
  • Data modeling skills for physical and logical data models
  • Experience with Python, Spark, Scala, R
  • Knowledge of BI Solutions (MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx)
