Data Engineer for Banking

Capco is seeking a Data Engineer for Banking to join their team in Brno, Czech Republic. This role offers the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues for prestigious banks on various projects, focusing on exciting transformation challenges around data. You'll be part of an agile team, working with some of the largest banks in the world on projects that will transform the financial services industry. Your responsibilities will include modernizing processes, developing and optimizing state-of-the-art solutions, and managing data from business analysis to implementation. As you grow in the role, you'll take on more responsibility for your topics and lead sub-projects and smaller project teams.

Key skills and requirements:

• Successfully completed university degree
• Fluent English (German is a big advantage)
• Strong interest and working experience in data analysis, business analysis, or business process optimization
• Skilled in SQL and Python
• Experience with Git and Google Cloud Platform (or other cloud providers)
• Experience mapping Data to Actimize SAM Data Structure is a big advantage
• Anti Financial Crime (AML) background is an advantage
