Responsibilities For Security Engineer (Mid Level)

  • Develop and execute advanced security engineering strategies for infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments
  • Lead security initiatives across SDLC, integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, and Container scanning
  • Collaborate with teams to embed security-by-design principles
  • Design and implement endpoint protection and cloud security solutions
  • Implement and monitor cloud configurations for compliance
  • Develop comprehensive data protection strategy
  • Oversee security tool integration in CI/CD pipelines
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, security audits, and code reviews
  • Guide engineering teams in secure development practices
  • Monitor and test new security tools

Requirements For Security Engineer (Mid Level)

  • Strong knowledge of application security and secure coding practices
  • Proficiency in SAST, DAST, SCA, and Container scanning
  • Extensive experience in endpoint security, cloud security, and network protection
  • Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Understanding of data security principles and mechanisms
  • Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP)
  • Experience with Python, Go, or Java
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CSSLP preferred)
