Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of expertise to join our dynamic team. The role will focus on the deployment, integration, and maintenance of BigID across various environments, ensuring compliance with data retention and legal hold requirements. The candidate will also be responsible for API development, database scanning, and developing Python scripts for integration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data storage and further utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and integrate BigID across multiple environments (Dev, QA, PreProd, Prod)
• Implement BigID's retention module to manage legal holds and apply retention rules
• Develop robust APIs for data storage and processing
• Configure BigID to connect with relevant data platforms for performing initial scans
• Develop Python scripts to automate data transfer from BigID to GCP

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in development using Python, Bash/Shell scripting on Linux-based operating systems
• Proficiency in managing and deploying applications on Linux servers
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Proficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Expertise in GCP and other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Strong understanding of Git or other version control systems
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of networking, firewall configurations, SSL/TLS
• Experience with BigID or similar data discovery, privacy, and governance tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
