Senior Frontend Developer (React)

Capco is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer (React) to join their team in London, UK. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will work on engaging projects with some of the largest banks in the world, contributing to transformative initiatives in the financial services industry. You'll be part of a digital engineering team developing new and enhancing existing financial and data solutions, with opportunities to work on exciting greenfield projects as well as established Tier1 bank applications used by millions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interpreting requirements and defining industry-leading solutions alongside clients
• Demonstrating and helping clients adhere to best practices in engineering and SDLC
• Building event-driven, loosely coupled distributed applications
• Developing both on-premise and cloud-based solutions
• Supporting internal Capco capabilities by sharing insights and experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Deep technical knowledge of JavaScript technologies, particularly React
• Experience with CSS (SASS/LESS), responsive design, and frameworks like Bootstrap or MaterialUI
• Understanding of security standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect & JWT
• Experience with state management tools like Redux
• Familiarity with task runners like Webpack
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, or Chai
