Research and Development Engineer

Cape, founded by Palantir and Anduril alums, is on a mission to revolutionize global wireless with a focus on privacy and security. As a Research and Development Engineer at Cape, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working on cutting-edge projects that span Android carrier apps, telecommunications stacks, and backend services.

You'll collaborate with a diverse team of talented engineers, enjoying dynamic interactions across the organization. Your role will involve building quick prototypes, integrating with telecommunications infrastructure, and working with mobile devices to provide cellular service. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on software with real-world impact, combining personal privacy and national security interests.

We're looking for candidates with a strong background in software engineering, particularly in Android development. You should be fluent in languages like Golang, Rust, Java/Kotlin, or Python, and have a solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and cloud infrastructure. A passion for privacy and security is essential, as is the ability to obtain a security clearance.
