Backend Software Engineer

Capital on Tap is seeking Backend Software Engineers to join their Acquisition, Credit, Decisioning, and Compliance (ACDC) team. This role offers the opportunity to build robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology for an all-in-one business credit card and spend management platform. You'll be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from coding to production and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in C#, .Net Core, and SQL Server, with a strong understanding of database technologies and Agile development practices. You'll work in a collaborative environment, partnering with Product Managers, QA's, and fellow Software Engineers to create innovative solutions for small businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building sites and APIs for smooth customer application and onboarding
• Integrating with credit data sources and maintaining decisioning systems
• Performing fraud and compliance monitoring
• Developing robust unit and integration tests
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise

The tech stack includes C#, .Net, .Net Core for backend; React and JavaScript for frontend; Flutter and Dart for mobile; SQL Server and MongoDB for databases; and Azure & GCP for cloud services.
