This role focuses on protecting both customers and associates through comprehensive information security practices. The position involves consulting on initiatives, programs, and projects to enhance information security measures. The ideal candidate will be pragmatic in risk assessment while having expertise in Cloud Service technologies, including Storage Services, Security & Access Control Management, Container Services, and API Implementation.
The role requires a deep understanding of various Cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and their architectural differences. You'll serve as a central point of contact for Cyber Tech engineering teams, coordinating security consulting across Infrastructure Security, Resiliency, Data Security, Network Architecture, and User Access Management.

Responsibilities For Manager, Information Security Office Consultant
- Act as a central Information Security point of contact for the Cyber Tech engineering teams
- Coordinate and execute proactive Information Security consulting
- Serve as an expert in Capital One's Information Security capabilities
- Influence customers to leverage security capabilities
- Escalate and manage cyber security risk
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership
- Work with line of business leadership
Requirements For Manager, Information Security Office Consultant
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology
- At least 3 years of experience providing guidance and oversight of Security concepts
- At least 3 years of experience performing security risk assessments
- At least 3 years of experience with architecture, software design, networking, and cloud infrastructure
- At least 3 years of experience with Application Security or Vulnerability Management
- At least 3 years of experience in securing a public cloud environment
