Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Product Management (Network Security)

Capital One is seeking an experienced cybersecurity product leader to spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise in network security and enterprise security frameworks. The position requires someone who can effectively communicate with executives while diving deep into technical controls and solutions. The ideal candidate will drive security innovation while ensuring business enablement.

The role involves developing risk-based strategies for enterprise security services, analyzing security alternatives, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. You'll be responsible for making critical build vs. buy decisions, leading RFI/RFPs, and ensuring security solutions meet evolving threats and business needs.

Key responsibilities include developing outcome-driven roadmaps, keeping current with industry advances, advising executive decision-makers, and maintaining technical credibility across the enterprise. You'll also play a crucial role in recruiting and mentoring team members while managing high-visibility cybersecurity projects.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $204,900 to $280,600 depending on location, plus performance-based incentives and comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of cybersecurity experience, with specific expertise in cloud security, network security services, and enterprise security frameworks. Experience with Zero Trust and SASE frameworks is highly valued, as is experience in regulated financial services organizations. Professional certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or AWS Security are preferred.
