Description For AI/ML Engineer

Capital Technology Group (CTG) is on a mission to modernize and innovate the way the federal government delivers software. As an AI/ML Engineer, you'll lead the team in evaluating new or emerging technologies, analyze benefits and risks, and support the adoption of new technologies across the enterprise. You'll work on high-impact civic tech projects within the federal government, providing technical leadership and mentoring junior IT specialists.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating new technologies using prototypes and proof of concepts
  • Analyzing and communicating benefits and risks of new technology implementations
  • Performing as a developer, operations, and security engineer in cloud environments
  • Leading teams in adopting new technologies
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 15 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Python, machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch), data manipulation (pandas), and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust clearance
