Responsibilities For Mid Level Network Engineer

  • Design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test and maintain network devices and interfaces
  • Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management
  • Configure and optimize network connections between front-end and back-end components
  • Implement network solutions including load-balancing, VPNs, firewalls, VoIP, and IPSec
  • Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput
  • Provide input to network and mission architecture design
  • Manage tasks and guide junior Network Engineers
  • Maintain network diagrams and accreditations
  • Integrate hardware and software to meet ISO 9000 and DoD/IC regulations
  • Oversee network equipment support
  • Develop network architecture designs for new partner requirements

Requirements For Mid Level Network Engineer

Linux
  • Must hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with favorable Polygraph
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline certification
  • Cisco certification required
  • 8 years of relevant Network Engineering experience
