Description For Mid Level UI Software Engineer
Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level UI software engineer to collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers. The role involves developing and implementing user interface components for a mission-focused enterprise web application, aiming to provide an interactive, coherent, and visually appealing UI user experience.
Key requirements include:
- Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph (U.S. citizenship required)
- Strong educational background in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Linux CLI, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Webpack, and UI testing frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD principles, Git, and scripting languages like Bash/Python
The ideal candidate will also have experience with container technologies, 508 Compliance, test automation tools, and Atlassian Suite.

Responsibilities For Mid Level UI Software Engineer
- Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers
- Develop and implement user interface components
- Provide an interactive, coherent, and visually appealing UI user experience for a mission-focused enterprise web application
Requirements For Mid Level UI Software Engineer
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
- U.S. citizenship
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, or 7 years of experience as a SWE
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
- Experience developing UI using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with the React JavaScript framework
- Experience with Webpack Module Bundler
- Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
- Experience using Git Source Control System
