Mid/Senior Level Full-Stack Developer

Captivation Software is seeking a mid/senior level full-stack developer to support the WEBCANDID tool, which tracks, administers, and archives requests for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners worldwide. The role involves creating enhancements for WEBCANDID based on high-priority mission needs and maintaining the existing code base. WEBCANDID is undergoing approval for a partial re-write of data storage and metrics display, offering an opportunity to work with modern technologies and contribute to future decisions.

Key aspects of the role:

• Possibility of telework in the near future (not guaranteed)
• Rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support (roughly one week every 3-4 weeks)
• Additional 4 hours can be charged for on-call weeks
• On average, after-hours support is needed once per month, mostly resolvable by phone

Requirements:

• Must hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
• U.S. citizenship required
• At least 7 years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree (or 4 years additional SWE experience)
• Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of experience

• Java 8+
• Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
• Elasticsearch/Mongo
• Spring Boot

• Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence
