Senior Software Engineer

Captivation Software is seeking a senior level software engineer to support the CASA Compute Environment (CCE) SaaS team and mission services. The CCE offers containerized services that customers can provision and access on-demand within a Kubernetes cluster, including Gitlab CI/CD, Jupyter Notebooks, and MinIO. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting containerized applications, upgrading services, assisting customers, and developing software for new CCE functionality. The engineer will also provide customer support across Hustle channels and via help desk tickets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting containerized applications
• Upgrading services in the CCE environment
• Assisting customers with CCE usage
• Developing software for new CCE functionality and services
• Providing customer support through various channels

Requirements:

• Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph
• U.S. citizenship
• Strong experience with Linux CLI, Bash/Python scripting, Helm Charts for Kubernetes, developing services on Kubernetes, and creating containerized applications using Docker
• Customer outreach and troubleshooting support experience

Desired skills include experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Gitlab CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, Atlassian Tool suite, and willingness to learn new technologies like AWS.
