Description For IT Infrastructure Engineer

Car Benefit Solutions is seeking a passionate IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing, building, deploying, and maintaining cutting-edge IT infrastructure to ensure operational stability, security, and high availability across systems. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement with 4 days in office and 1 day working from home, with a competitive salary range of £50,000 to £55,000 per annum for a 35-hour work week.

Responsibilities For IT Infrastructure Engineer

  • Maintain operational stability, security and high availability of core infrastructure platforms
  • Maintain operational stability, security and high availability of LAN networking infrastructure
  • Develop and deliver effective technical solutions
  • Support development teams with infrastructure requirements
  • Administration of O365 and Azure platforms
  • Monitor and maintain all Backup and Recovery systems
  • Implement and enforce IT security protocols
  • Provide training/guidance and support/mentoring
  • Contribute towards Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity planning

Requirements For IT Infrastructure Engineer

  • GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English
  • IT Level 3 Technician or similar
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or above
  • Strong knowledge of server administration, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP and DNS
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products including Office 365, Azure, and MDM
  • Experience working in Azure Public Cloud including Azure Virtual Desktops
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually
