Description For Full Stack Software Engineer

Carbonfact is revolutionizing the fashion industry's approach to carbon emissions management. As the leading Carbon Management Platform for the textile and fashion industry, we've raised $17M from notable investors including Alven, Headline, and Y Combinator. Our platform serves hundreds of prominent brands like Carhartt, Allbirds, and Happy Socks by automating life cycle assessments at the product level.

Our engineering team works with a modern tech stack centered around three main components: our LCA engine, Niklas (our NestJS backend), and our customer-facing NextJS web app. We emphasize type safety with TypeScript and leverage Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery. Engineers enjoy autonomy in project ownership while following the Shape Up approach to ensure rapid value delivery to customers.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll join a strong team of professionals from top companies like Airbnb, Google, and Alan. You'll have the opportunity to work on both Product Engineering (full-stack development and user-facing features) and Computation Engineering (backend systems and technical challenges). We value pragmatic problem-solving and maintain high standards for code quality and testing.

The role offers competitive compensation (€50K-€65K plus equity), comprehensive benefits including full health coverage with Alan, and a hybrid work environment in our Paris office. You'll be part of a passionate team dedicated to sustainability and innovation, working on meaningful projects that directly impact the fashion industry's environmental footprint.

Join us in our mission to decarbonize the fashion industry while growing professionally in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
