Description For Automation Engineer

CardLift is revolutionizing how credit card issuers maximize their share of wallet through a innovative browser extension solution. As our first automation-focused engineering hire, you'll work directly with founder Rithwik Pattikonda, creator of successful products like OctoShop (acquired by Ibotta) and TravelArrow (300K+ users).

You'll be instrumental in building CardLift's automation backbone, developing robust scripts for seamless payment method updates across multiple platforms. The role combines technical expertise in web scraping, automation, and browser extension development with strategic input on product direction.

Our browser extension helps users instantly update payment methods across platforms with a single click, while highlighting card benefits and offering extra cashback through affiliate partnerships. This creates value for both users and credit card issuers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and maintaining automation scripts for user flows and payment updates
  • Building intelligent web scraping systems that adapt to dynamic websites
  • Integrating automation scripts with our browser extension
  • Contributing to technical roadmap and architecture decisions

  • Strong proficiency in jQuery, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Extensive web scraping experience
