Enterprise Application Engineer

Careem, the Everything App for the greater Middle East, is seeking an Enterprise Application Engineer to focus on Atlassian tools and HR Tech. This role is crucial for improving colleague experience through service management processes and modern HR technologies. The position involves developing technical solutions, managing user access, optimizing workflows, and providing support for Atlassian applications and other enterprise tools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering and supporting Atlassian applications (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk) and other enterprise tools
• Configuring and customizing Jira workflows, screens, and automation
• Implementing integrations between systems
• Troubleshooting issues and improving support processes
• Providing support via Slack and managing incidents through ITSM tools
• Optimizing HR-related systems and platforms
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs
• Staying informed about emerging technologies and vendor roadmaps

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience managing enterprise systems
• Proficiency in scripting languages and cloud platforms
• Experience with Jira, GitHub, and system integrations
• Familiarity with HR systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and collaborative approach
