Security Engineer

Casca is revolutionizing the $7T lending industry through their innovative GenAI systems, transforming how banks evaluate and process loans. As their Founding Security Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in building the security foundation that protects millions of customers' financial data while enabling rapid AI innovation.

This unique position offers the opportunity to architect an entire security infrastructure from the ground up, working directly with the engineering team, Chief Risk Officer, and CTO. You'll be responsible for building automated security systems that can scale with explosive growth, pioneering security practices that set industry standards for AI-powered fintech, and leading SOC 1 & SOC 2 compliance while maintaining an aggressive innovation pace.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of information security experience, with strong expertise in cloud security and compliance standards. You should have deep knowledge of security frameworks and strong coding abilities in Python or Go. Experience in fintech or banking is highly valued, as is experience building security programs from scratch.

This role offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $150K-$250K and equity (0.05% – 0.15%). As a remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere while helping shape the future of banking security.
