Team CATHEXIS is seeking a .NET Developer to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Personnel & Readiness (OSD P&R) in developing and enhancing the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS). This mission-critical platform is used across all P&R offices for military units to input key data on personnel, training readiness, medical records, and deployment status. The role involves designing and maintaining secure, scalable applications using .NET technologies, ensuring accurate data reporting and system functionality. Working in a hybrid environment at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA, you'll be part of a team that values respect, engagement, customer service, integrity, and excellence. The position requires strong technical skills in .NET development, database management, and security compliance, along with an active DoD Secret Clearance. Responsibilities For .Net Developer
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
- Write clean, maintainable code while following best coding practices and standards
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of .NET applications
- Convert and upgrade legacy applications to modern .NET frameworks
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, including writing complex queries and stored procedures
- Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure software reliability
- Collaborate with software engineers, quality assurance teams, and stakeholders
- Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Ensure software security and compliance requirements
- Participate in deployment and release planning
- Conduct software audits
- Stay current with emerging .NET technologies
Requirements For .Net Developer
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required, TS or above preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or 4 years experience)
- Active Security+ certification
- Experience with .NET development in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Visual Studio
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies
- Experience with SQL Server
- Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git
- Experience with cloud-based development, preferably AWS GovCloud
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Understanding of secure coding practices
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
