Description For Knowledge Engineer

Causaly, founded in 2018, is revolutionizing biomedical science with its generative AI platform. We're seeking a Knowledge Engineer to join our Data & Semantic Technologies team. You'll bridge domain semantics and engineering, working on data modeling, algorithm design, and software development for processing and integrating knowledge resources.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and managing data & knowledge resources
  • Collaborating with domain experts on knowledge representation
  • Developing data pipelines focusing on modeling, algorithms, and analytics
  • Driving our semantics agenda, including ontology management and knowledge graph development
  • Exploring and developing rapid proofs of concept
  • Integrating LLMs into our pipelines
  • Working with various stakeholders across technical, product, and business teams

Responsibilities For Knowledge Engineer

  • Work on creating, integrating, maintaining, and managing data & knowledge resources
  • Link domain semantics with engineering
  • Develop production data-pipelines
  • Contribute to the company's semantics agenda
  • Explore and develop rapid proofs of concept
  • Adopt data extractions with LLMs in pipelines
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders

Requirements For Knowledge Engineer

Python
  • Proven experience in data and/or knowledge engineering roles
  • Strong engineering background
  • Proficiency in Python and Git
  • Ability to debug and test code output
  • Knowledge of or interest in the biomedical domain
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • A product and user-centric mindset
  • Proven problem solving and project execution skills
