Senior Site Reliability Engineer

At Censys, our mission is to bring internet visibility and intelligence to the world's security teams. Our platform not only identifies potential threats, but provides actionable insights and enables proactive defense strategies. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the Infrastructure and Ops platform team, you will help design, build, and deploy the tools used to empower our development teams and production applications. We're looking for talented engineers to help grow our operational maturity and master cloud-native technologies to support our microservice architecture growth and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain tooling for applications in Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
• Support development teams in building, shipping, and deploying services with ease and confidence
• Ensure smooth operations of production environments and debug complex issues
• Create a self-service platform to accelerate developer velocity
• Participate in shared on-call rotation

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Kubernetes, container management, and cloud environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-code tools and monitoring solutions
• Experience with CI/CD systems and monorepo development models
• Strong communication skills and ability to support developers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with gRPC microservice architecture and service mesh technologies
• Familiarity with Go, Python, and Scala
• Knowledge of application security tooling
• Comfort with Linux-based environments

We offer a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $190,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity. Our benefits package includes 401k match, health, vision, and dental coverage. This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days a week in the office at either Ann Arbor, MI, or Tysons, VA. Remote options are available for candidates in Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA.
