Responsibilities For Communication Systems Engineer II

  • Evaluate customer and operational needs to define requirements and ensure compatibility of interfaces
  • Collaborate with program management for project scheduling and coordination
  • Act as primary technical contact with external customers
  • Serve as liaison between program management, engineering, and manufacturing
  • Develop system engineering processes for requirements management

Requirements For Communication Systems Engineer II

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum 2 years experience with space-based communication payloads
  • Background in antenna and RF systems
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages
  • Experience working with product/component developers and vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS or Jama)
  • Ability to define work direction and track milestones
  • Ability to work well under pressure
