Description For FPGA Engineer II

CesiumAstro, a pioneering company in out-of-the-box communication systems for satellites and aerospace platforms, is seeking an FPGA Engineer II to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems in a startup environment.

As an FPGA Engineer II, you will be integral to the development of FPGA circuits and systems throughout all phases of the development process. Your expertise in FPGA design, verification, test, and deployment at the HDL level will be crucial. You'll work on complex FPGA HDL designs, including high-speed serial interfaces, digital processing cores, and management interfaces.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with at least 2 years of industry experience in FPGA systems. Proficiency in tools like Verilog/VHDL, HDL coder, and Xilinx's Vivado is essential. You should also be comfortable with lab instruments such as digital oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

CesiumAstro offers a compelling package, including stock options and comprehensive benefits. They value diversity and maintain an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action policy. This position requires U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status due to government space technology export regulations.

Join CesiumAstro to push the boundaries of aerospace technology and contribute to groundbreaking projects in satellite communications. If you're passionate about FPGA engineering and want to make a significant impact in the space industry, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow and innovate.
