As a Principal Power Electronics Engineer I, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing power electronics systems for spacecraft and aerospace applications. The position focuses on two main areas: optimized point-of-load converters (1W to 50W) and standalone dc-dc converter modules (20W to 500W).
You'll be responsible for the complete product lifecycle, from concept through production, including creating roadmaps, designing schematics, PCB layout, analysis, and working with manufacturers. The role requires expertise in power electronics, circuit analysis, and hands-on experience with lab instruments. As a principal engineer, you'll also mentor others and present to customers and executives.
The ideal candidate brings 9+ years of experience in power electronics design, with a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering.
