Senior Electronics Engineer II

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer II to join their team. This role involves full-stack hardware development for complex modules and small systems in a startup environment, focusing on leading-edge electronics for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems. The position offers opportunities for technical leadership, managing small teams of hardware engineers developing new products.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end design of complex electronics modules and small systems
• Leading small teams of hardware engineers
• Developing hardware architecture and requirements
• Performing detailed schematic design and PCB layout
• Conducting various analyses (worst-case circuit, signal integrity, power integrity)
• Developing bring-up plans and design verification plans
• Performing bring-up and key verification testing
• Releasing modules and assemblies to production
• Mentoring junior and senior engineers

The ideal candidate should have a BS or higher in Electrical Engineering, minimum 6 years of relevant experience, expertise in high-reliability electronics design for space or defense applications, and strong skills in PCB layout, signal integrity simulation, and electronics design tools.
