You'll be responsible for end-to-end hardware development, from architecture design to production release, while mentoring other engineers.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience in electronics design for space or defense applications, with proven expertise in tools like Altium Designer and simulation software. You'll need strong communication skills to present to customers and executives, plus the ability to work cross-functionally with software and mechanical teams.

Responsibilities For Senior Electronics Engineer II
- Own end-to-end design of complex electronics modules and small systems
- Lead small teams of hardware engineers to develop new products
- Develop hardware architecture and write hardware requirements
- Perform detailed and complete schematic design for complex boards
- Perform detailed PCB layout in Altium Designer
- Complete analysis such as worst-case circuit analysis and signal integrity analysis
- Develop bring-up plans and design verification plans
- Perform bring-up and key verification testing
- Release modules and small assemblies to production
- Mentor junior and senior engineers
Requirements For Senior Electronics Engineer II
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and test
- Direct experience designing high-reliability electronics for space or defense applications
- Experience owning the design phase of complex board-level electronics
- Experience delivering hardware designs through production and deployment
- Expertise in PCB layout, including high-density interconnect (HDI) stackup design
- Experience running board-level signal integrity and/or power integrity simulation tools
- Strong working knowledge of software and mechanical fields
- Expert-level proficiency in electronics design tools such as Altium
- Extensive lab experience for bring-up and verification of new hardware
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee or refugee
