Description For Lead Plumbing Engineer

CESO, Inc. is seeking a Lead Plumbing Engineer for a challenging and purposeful role. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience and a Professional Engineering (PE) License. This position involves leading projects from concept to completion, performing technical assignments, and ensuring the production of drawings and designs meet project requirements. The engineer will apply engineering standards, communicate with stakeholders, and stay current on industry codes. Responsibilities For Lead Plumbing Engineer

  • Lead projects / programs from concept through completion
  • Perform and ensure the production of drawings, design advanced building systems, specifications, calculations, and other analyses meet scope, timeline, cost, and quality requirements
  • Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for conformance to plan documents and project specifications
  • Prepare and modify studies, plans, reports, specifications, and designs for projects
  • Apply local, state, and federal regulations
  • Adapt engineering information, codes, and standards into the project designs and stay current on industry codes and standards
  • Communicate design requirements with architects, contractors, and equipment manufacturers to determine scope and feasibility
  • Attend internal and external meetings
  • Other project duties as assigned

Requirements For Lead Plumbing Engineer

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering from ABET accredited college
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License is required
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, AEC industry, codes and standards
  • Experience creating and maintaining engineering standards and tools
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Revu, Microsoft Office Suite and other common software
