Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer

CGS Federal is seeking a seasoned Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer to join their team in developing and implementing virtualization solutions for government clients. This role combines technical expertise with public sector innovation, requiring extensive experience in VMware technologies and large-scale enterprise environments.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge virtualization technology, specifically focusing on VMware ThinApp, Horizon View, and vSphere products. As a VDI Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining virtualized workstation images and applications for large-scale deployments serving 5,000+ users. The role requires both technical depth and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The position requires the ability to obtain security clearance and work effectively with government clients.
